Fishing for pike
It’s common for anglers to get into pike fishing when it’s the right time for it. Among other things, you can turn to this fish at the beginning of the season, and towards the end of autumn, when it is preparing for winter. This carnivore is easily recognisable with its duck-like beak and hundreds of teeth.

When fishing for this fish, you can turn to soft lures. These are attractive when it comes to fishing for this particular fish. Their main advantage is that they are highly variable.
You can easily find a soft pike lure with a variety of shapes, which can best suit your needs. However, when fishing for pike, you should favour soft lures that best imitate the appearance of small fish.
Making the right rig
In order for your soft lure to be able to catch pike more easily, it will be necessary to equip it with the right weight. This is the small amount of ballast that can be placed on a lure so that it can move better under water.
For pike, we will ideally aim at fishing between two waters. The weight of the lure should be between 10g and 15g at the most. As far as the rig itself is concerned, it is better to favour solutions such as the Texan. This will allow your lure to hold well even when the pike struggles to release your line.
